 ides grounding in the environmental issues related
  to home furnishings\, including the factual basis
  for climate change\, indoor air quality\, toxic w
 aste\, and water conservation. Source documents ar
 e public records such as the U.N. IPCC 4th Assessm
 ent Report and the U.S. EPA\, translated from tech
 nical jargon into easily understood concepts with 
 common references all explicitly linked to the fur
 nishings industry.\n \n 	Unit 2 - Knowing Green Co
 nsumers\n \n 	This module provides insight into th
 e current thinking of consumers based on a nationa
 l survey&nbsp\; among those who have purchased hom
 e furnishings recently. Topics include preferred t
 erminology\, hot button issues\, level of concerns
 \, purchase interest\, price sensitivity\, and per
 ceived obstacles. Learn why consumers do what they
  do\, and what you need to know to be effective wi
 th your marketing and sales efforts.\n \n 	Unit 3 
 - Sourcing Green Products\n \n 	This module provid
 es detailed descriptions of the differences betwee
 n available options in the components that go into
  home furnishings\, including certified wood\, rap
 id renewables\, commercial harvests\, recycled/rec
 yclable content\, low VOC finishes\, bio hybrid cu
 shioning\, vegetable-tanned leathers and organic t

 willing to pay? What does it say about your regula

 \n 	Unit 5 - Designing Green Interiors\n \n 	This 
 module covers other aspects of interior design not
  specifically treated in other modules\, including
  wall paint\, window treatments\, flooring\, carpe
 ting and samples. Learn how to make educated recom
 mendations on these other important elements in a 
 commercial space or in the home\, whether you are 
 specifically tasked with that or not.\n \n 	Unit 6
  - Operating Green Showrooms\n \n 	This module pro
 vides recommendations on ways of reducing expense 
 and carbon footprints in running a commercial spac
 e\, with many of the ideas relevant to residential
  settings as well. Learn tips and tricks for energ
 y conservation\, lighting\, cooling\, and recyclin
 g\, with exact methods of calculating cost and car
 bon savings.
