SFC Announces Training Program

The SFC is launching this first of its kind "Train the Trainers" program, a 6-course examination series resulting in your accreditation as an SFC Certified Trainer with expertise in green home furnishings.  Course segments include Environmental Issues, Consumer Understanding, Materials, Operations,Marketing & Sales, and Interior Design.

Intended for manufacturers, retailers and designers, this fast-paced, fact-filled series is provides an up to the minute understanding of the essentials of sustainability as it relates to the home furnishings industry and the tools for communicating it effectively to others. Successful completion of the course including passing exams will qualify you to move your business in the right direction, promote yourselves as a Certified Trainer, and educate your own staff better to be able to deal with customers on this critical subject. Content is approved by ranking staff of Rainforest Alliance and World Wildlife Fund and ceu credits available. This is a fee-based course offered by the SFC.  It takes place at the World Market Center,  Building B, Living Green Pavilion, 2nd Floor.  For more information email susan@susatainablefurnishings.org
