Membership Requirements

Sustainable Furnishings Council members are required to:

1. A commitment to sustainability
2. Transparency about how you are living that commitment
3. A commitment to continuous improvement

Standards for recognizing Exemplary Membership are specific and significant.

Types of Membership

• listing and logo on the SFC website
• our info-packed newsletter and LOTS of other educational information
• benefit from networking opportunities at SFC meetings and industry events
• a gift of useful Guides to Recycling and to Energy Savings
• link from the SFC website
• use the corporate membership logo under our SFC Logo Use Guidelines
• a kit for use in your showroom/store: posters, window decals, table-talkers, brochures

  

• are issued a hangtag to place on their products
• receive extra publicity
